Meia Maratona de Matosinhos 2019

Matosinhos correu hoje a Meia Maratona

Foi esta manhã que a marginal de Leça da Palmeira se preencheu de atletas a correr a ISAG Meia Maratona de Matosinhos Mar de Desporto ou a caminhar os 7 km da mini maratona.

Num belo percurso, sempre com o Atlântico como fundo, a segunda edição da prova decorreu esta manhã entre o Farol da Boa Nova e a Ponte Móvel, um verdadeiro Mar de Desporto.

Com o tiro de partida dado por Luís Costa, administrador do Instituto Superior de Administração e Gestão (ISAG), foi com muita animação e alegria que se preencheram os quilómetros desta prova, sempre estimulados por uma linha da frente de elite bem composta e pelo forte apoio da população a todos os participantes.

José Moreira venceu emocionado

A disputa prevista entre os três primeiros atletas de elite foi patente ao longo da prova e confirmou-se no alinhamento final na chegada à meta. José Moreira, do Sporting CP, foi o grande vencedor a cortar a meta com 01:08:13, depois de ter sido segundo na edição de 2018, seguido por Daniel Pinheiro, CDS Salvador do Campo, com 01:08:23, e com Rui Pedro Silva, Sporting CP, a fechar o pódio masculino com 01:08:48.

No setor feminino da prova, Marta Martins suplantou as adversárias e venceu a prova com 01:20:25, seguida por Andreia Cunha, com 01:22:30. Na terceira posição ficou Diana Almeida, Sporting CP, com 01:23:29.

O cenário da cerimónia de pódio foi o mar do oceano atlântico, mar de desporto, que dá nome ao evento. Para a entrega dos troféus e medalhas estiveram presentes Luísa Salgueiro, presidente da Câmara Municipal de Matosinhos, Helena Vaz, administradora da MatosinhosSport, Luís Costa, administrador do ISAG, Elvira Vieira, diretora geral do ISAG, Paulo Trigo, da Caravela Seguros, e Jorge Teixeira, diretor geral da Runporto.

Com uma grande afluência de atletas estrangeiros, 25 nacionalidades presentes nesta 2ª edição da ISAG Meia Maratona de Matosinhos Mar de Desporto, o percurso sempre junto ao mar mostrou o melhor da região e fez as delícias de todos os participantes.
